Governor Adeleke Approves Promotions within Civil Service

  Osun state Governor Ademola Adeleke has approved the promotions of due civil servants after a statutory process supervised by the Head of Service, Mr Samuel Ayanleye Aina, in conjunction with the Civil Service Commission and Local Government Service Commission.  According to a circular by the Head of Service, the promotion letters for all due personnel for last year have been approved by Governor Ademola Adeleke and are being issued their letters of promotion by their respective Commissions, Ministries, Departments and Agencies. The Head of Service declared that the promotion followed all due processes as prescribed by the extant Public Service Rules. Mr Governor duly approved the exercise in compliance with his earlier directive that promotion exercise should be a regular feature of the service. Letters are being given out to promoted officers. OSUN PENSIONERS COMMENDS GOV. ADELEKE OVER FREE MEDICAL SURGERIES

The neglect suffered by senior citizens in Osun State over the years seems to be disappeared under governor Ademola Adeleke's administration. Now they enjoyed  constant payment of their pensions and gratuity  while they have also been enrolled under the Osun health Insurance Scheme for free. Taking their welfare to another level, these medical care and surgery program are for conducted on the senior citizens who are suffering from major ailments. Governor Adeleke reiterated that his government places priority on the welfare of workers and pensioners. While highlighting recent approvals and allowances for health workers in the state, he announced that the 3rd episode of the Imole surgical and medical outreach targeted at the vulnerable will soon start. The free surgery and medical care program for the senior citizen was organised in conjunction with a Non governmental organization.

Osun State Government has denied a fake report that it obtained a Ten Billion Naira loan facility in 2023, asserting that Governor Ademola Adeleke did not take any loan and is not planning to take any such loan now or in the near future. Osun Government Inaugurates Asset Recovery Task Force

  Osun state government has inaugurated a special task force for the recovery of government project vehicles/assets carted away by the officials of the immediate past administration.  The inauguration of the committee followed the release of the white paper of the Asset recovery committee set up by Governor Adeleke through the executive order issued on the day of  his inauguration on November 27th, 2022.  The committee which is to be Chaired by the Secretary to the Osun state government, Alhaji Teslim Igbalaye, was inaugurated on Wednesday, 14th February, 2024 with the mandate to “ensure immediate recovery of government project vehicles/assets carted away by the officials of the immediate past administration.  The Head of Service, Mr Ayanleye Aina, while inaugurating the committee on behalf of the Executive Governor, charged the committee to implement the report of Asset recovery committee and retrieve all the state government assets discovered to have been cart...

  The victim, identified as Mr Olabode Olawuyi, who was a Veterinary Technologist, was said to have has been in charge of the Zoological garden for over a decade. The Public Relations Officer of the university, Abiodun Olarewaju, confirmed the incident in a statement on Monday to cosmostv. Osun Judicial Strike: Governor Adeleke Sets Up Resolution Committee

Worried by protracted strike action by the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Governor Ademola Adeleke has set up a seven man committee to urgently resolve the industrial dispute. The Governor is also sending a briefing letter  to the Attorney General of the Federation and the Chief Justice  of Nigeria, calling for support to resolve the industrial dispute. The Governor in the letters briefed the top judicial officials on his efforts so far to get the crisis resolved despite the fact that the bone of contention is pure judicial staff matters. The Committee led by the Secretary to the State Government, Hon Teslim Igbalaye, is to find a lasting solution to the  crisis within the judiciary within seven days, Mr Governor further directed.
