OSHA Deputy Majority Leader Hon. Oladimeji frowns over Governor Adeleke's re-election billboards destruction in Osogbo, environs

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Osun State House of Assembly and Chairman of the House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, Hon. Adekunle Oladimeji, has condemned the destruction of Governor Ademola Adeleke’s re-election campaign billboards. ‎ ‎While inspecting some of the locations where the vandalised billboards were erected in Osogbo and its environs, Hon. Oladimeji described the act as outrageous and uncivil. ‎ ‎He stated that no amount of destruction of Governor Adeleke’s re-election campaign billboards or campaigns of calumny would be enough to alter the determination and resolve of the people of Osun State to re-elect Governor Ademola Adeleke. ‎ ‎Hon. Oladimeji therefore called on security operatives to intervene in the matter and ensure that necessary measures are put in place to prevent further occurrences of such acts. ‎The Osun State House of Assembly Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Adekunle Oladimeji, has expressed confidence in the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke in the August 15 governorship election. ‎ ‎Hon. Oladimeji stated that Governor Adeleke’s victory is of immense importance to the people of the Irepodun/Orolu State Constituency.  ‎ ‎He made this known while reacting to reports that some individuals have been moving across the constituency collecting signatures in support of a candidate from another political platform. ‎ ‎According to him, the development is unlawful and a gross violation of democratic principles, warning that anyone caught engaging in such acts would face the full wrath of the law. Oyebamiji gave the assurance in his hometown of Ikire, in Irewole Local Government Area, during a solidarity prayer organised by the Ikire Muslim Community, where he also expressed confidence in winning the August 15 governorship poll.
