2026 Ekiti Decides: Accreditation, Voting Commences at Ward 13, Unit 001, Ado-Ekiti

Accreditation and voting have commenced at Ward 13, Unit 001, Farm Settlement, Ilawe Road, Ado-Ekiti, as eligible voters turn out to exercise their civic responsibility in the ongoing governorship election.

Election officials were seen attending to voters, while security personnel maintained their presence to ensure a peaceful and orderly process.

Voters arrived at the polling unit early, with accreditation and voting proceeding simultaneously in line with electoral guidelines.

The atmosphere at the polling unit remained calm, as electoral officials and stakeholders worked to facilitate a smooth voting exercise.

Party agents and Electoral observers were also on ground to monitor the process and ensure compliance with electoral procedures.

According to one of the voters, Saka Jimoh Folaranmi described the excercise praised INEC for the seamless electoral voter process.

NYSC Shifts Orientation Date For Osun, Enugu

The National Youth Service Corps has announced a change in the orientation schedule for prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun states for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II exercise. This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu. The scheme said the orientation course for the two states will now commence on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and end on Monday, May 18, 2026. NYSC said, “This slight adjustment is due to the ongoing extensive renovation of the Camps by the State Governments which has necessitated the date change. “For the avoidance of doubt, the Orientation Exercise for all other states and the FCT is scheduled to be held from Wednesday, April 22, 2026, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026. It urged affected prospective corps members to take note of the revised dates and comply accordingly.
