The Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has arrived in Nigeria after a month of working vacation outside the country. In fulfillment of his electoral promises, Governor Ademola Adeleke has again paid another half salary debt, making four months repayment since assuming the governorship. The Governor had earlier this year approved a memo for the phased payment of the 30 months half salaries debt inherited from the previous administration as promised.  Similar agreement was reached with the pensioners for the payment of outstanding pension and gratuity of N75 billion naira. In his comments on the payment of the fourth quarter half salary, Governor Adeleke restated his commitment to the agreement he had with workers to gradually pay the huge salary and pension arrears inherited from  his predecessor. In pursuance of his infrastructure expansion agenda, Governor Ademola Adeleke has launched road dualisation construction activities at Ede and Osogbo while documentation processes are almost completed on  lanned flyovers across the three senatorial districts. The roads which is a total of 11.17km is part of the multibillion naira Osun infrastructure development plan of the Governor Adeleke administration which is expected to be completed within the next one year. The dualisation of Old Garage Roundabout to Okefia Roundabout to Lameco Roundabout, Osogbo has commenced alongside the dualisation of Akoda Junction to Cottage Junction to Baptist High School Area, Ede.  The construction of flyovers at Ile Ife, Osogbo and Ede is to commence in due course as soon as the ongoing documentation processes are completed. Osun government has  prevailed over a 4year crisis on the succession to the post of the chief  Imam of Inisha central  mosque  in Odo Otin local government area of Osun state. The Osun state Commissioner for Home Affairs, Rasheed Aderibigbe at a resolution meeting with stakeholders in Osogbo announced  Akeem Mohammed Jamiu as the substantive Imam of the mosque The crisis on who becomes the imam of Inisha central mosque started between two groups  in 2020. The tussle despite being waded on by the immediate administration and League of Imams and Alfas in Osun state could not be resolved as it led to a court case leading to the closure of the central mosque since 2021. The ruling party in Osun State, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has slammed the opposition party in Osun over its thoughtless remarks on the Ilesa Water Project.  The recent remark from Osun APC chairman, Tajudeen Lawal,  calling Adeleke's action about the project "Political pettiness" shows that APC is not remorseful for the atrocities it committed while in office. The challenges the project is facing were caused by the Oyetola government. It was Oyetola who terminated the contractor's contract leading to the litigation that the state is battling.
