Osun Assembly Begins Hearing on Oke-Osun Osogbo Land Dispute, Pledges Fairness and Justice ‎ ‎The Osun State House of Assembly has commenced a hearing session on the protracted land dispute involving the Oke-Osun area of Osogbo. This was announced in an official statement released by family spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu. The United States Department of State will from July 8, 2025 restrict Nigerian nonimmigrant visa applicants to a single visit.  The updated rules is said to be part of its reciprocal nonimmigrant visa policy.  The information posted on its website on Tuesday says the visa will be valid for only three months. Until February 27, 2023, Nigerians applying for the B1/B2 (business and tourism) nonimmigrant visas were entitled to two years multiple entry visa validity. But from February 2023, it was increased to five years multiple entry.  The statement read, “Effective today, most nonimmigrant & non-official visas for Nigerian citizens will be single-entry with 3-month validity”.  The new policy will however only apply to visas issued before July 8, 2025.
