Shocking: Fmr NDDC, Cairo Ojougboh Slumped Dead During Nigeria & South Africa Match

 

A former member of the House of Representatives, who represented Ika federal constituency of Delta State, Dr Cairo Ojougboh, is dead.

Reliable sources said that the outspoken politician and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) died on Wednesday night while watching the AFCON 2023 semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa.

“As soon as a penalty kick was awarded against Nigeria during the AFCON match with South Africa on Wednesday’s semi-final clash in Bouake, Ivory Coast, he slumped.

BREAKING: OSUN GOVT ISSUES DIRECTIVE ON TEXTBOOK USAGE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS, BAN GRADUATION CEREMONIES OPEYEMI AKINYEMI, OSOGBO  The Osun State Government has issued a directive to all proprietors and proprietress of faith-based and private schools to approve and maintain a consistent list of textbooks to be used by pupils and students for three consecutive academic sessions. The State Government also placed a ban on graduation ceremonies for nursery and kindergarten pupils across public and private schools in the state. The move, according to the government, is aimed at reducing financial burdens on parents and guardians, and to ensure uniformity and stability in learning materials across schools. Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo, led a high-powered delegation to the Medium Security Custodial Centres in Ilesa and Ile-Ife on Tuesday, 24th June, 2025, and Wednesday, 25th June, 2025, respectively.
