BUDGET IMPLEMENTATION : osun state Government Debunks Rumour of 18billon naira allocated to the governovr office for Meals ,surpassed the 30% budgetary allocation


Osun State government says it has surpassed the 30 percent budgetary allocation benchmark for infrastructure development.

Commissioner for Economic Budget and Development, Prof. Maruf Adeleke who stated this during a press briefing in Osogbo while touching on the 2024 budget for the state,  also disclosed that the development has left osun state as one of the leading states in the country that has surpassed federal government baseline which anticipates that no state government goes below thirty percent in budgetary allocation for infrastructure development .

The commissioner assured residents of more infrastructure development in line with the vision of Governor Ademola Adeleke.

BREAKING: OSUN GOVT ISSUES DIRECTIVE ON TEXTBOOK USAGE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS, BAN GRADUATION CEREMONIES OPEYEMI AKINYEMI, OSOGBO  The Osun State Government has issued a directive to all proprietors and proprietress of faith-based and private schools to approve and maintain a consistent list of textbooks to be used by pupils and students for three consecutive academic sessions. The State Government also placed a ban on graduation ceremonies for nursery and kindergarten pupils across public and private schools in the state. The move, according to the government, is aimed at reducing financial burdens on parents and guardians, and to ensure uniformity and stability in learning materials across schools. CHIEF JUDGE OF OSUN STATE GRACIOUSLY SECURES RELEASE OF 18 AWAITING TRIAL INMATES FROM CUSTODIAL CENTRES By ASC Joel Oludare Oyedokun In a bid to decongest custodial centres under the Nigerian Correctional Service, Osun State Command, the Chief Judge of Osun State, Hon. Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo, led a high-powered delegation to the Medium Security Custodial Centres in Ilesa and Ile-Ife on Tuesday, 24th June, 2025, and Wednesday, 25th June, 2025, respectively. The delegation included esteemed members of the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice, Men of the bar, Prosecutors, Legal Aid Council, National Human Rights Commission, and other stakeholders.
