You are a humble and committed leader" - Governor Bago tells Jonathan at 67









 Governor Umar Bago of Niger State has described former President Goodluck Jonathan as a humble and committed leader, as he celebrates his 67th birthday.

In a congratulatory message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Bago commended the tremendous contributions of the former President to nation-building, adding that the event serves not only as a birthday celebration, but also as an acknowledgement of his efforts in Nigeria, and many other countries in Africa.

The governor observed that the celebrant has, through international engagements, continued to demonstrate commitment and dedication to the betterment of Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

He prayed that God would continue to grant Jonathan good health, more years and wisdom to continue serving humanity.

NYSC Shifts Orientation Date For Osun, Enugu

The National Youth Service Corps has announced a change in the orientation schedule for prospective corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun states for the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream II exercise. This was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu. The scheme said the orientation course for the two states will now commence on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and end on Monday, May 18, 2026. NYSC said, “This slight adjustment is due to the ongoing extensive renovation of the Camps by the State Governments which has necessitated the date change. “For the avoidance of doubt, the Orientation Exercise for all other states and the FCT is scheduled to be held from Wednesday, April 22, 2026, to Tuesday, May 12, 2026. It urged affected prospective corps members to take note of the revised dates and comply accordingly. The scheme also wished all prospective corps members a safe journey to their respective states of deployment. -END-
