CONSTITUENCY AFFAIRS: PRESIDENCY PROMISES SUPPORT FOR FAMERS, MARKET WOMEN IN OSUN

The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu says his administration is committed to transparency, accountability and responsiveness to the need of the masses.

The president was speaking at a town hall meeting with critical stakeholders on constituency affairs in Osun State held at the local government civil service commission at the government Secretariat Abere.

The President represented by the personal assistant on Constituency Affairs, Kareem Khadijat, who spoke at a town hall meeting with market women, farmer’s group, students and civil societies, noted that the presidency is aware of challenges facing the people of the state from infrastructure development to economic empowerment.

She stated that President Bola Tinubu is committed to quality education, healthcare and economic opportunities for the people of the state and assuring that federal government will work closely with local stakeholders, community leaders, and civil society organisations.

She said: “All our discussions here will be communicated to Mr President for immediate actions and to assure you that your voice will be heard. We will cultivate trust by being transparent, responsive, and accountable to your needs.

“We will address real-world challenges and have a tangible impact on your lives. Avail us with any federal abandoned projet in your domain,” Kareem added.

Earlier, Governor Ademola Adeleke, represented by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, appreciated President Tinubu for his commitment to the development of the state that is devoid of political colouration.
