MINIMUM WAGE IMPLEMENTATION: OSUN WORKERS HAIL ADELEKE.

Civil servants in Osun state have organized a procession to appreciation Governor Ademola Adeleke following his approval and signing of 75,000 naira minimum wage as well as other policies and programmes in the state.
With songs and dance, the workers received the governor at the main gate of the state secretariat in Abere.
The workers walked from the secretariat main entrance and matched to the front of the Governor's office where the Labour leaders, head of service and Governor addressed them.
The governor had last week Friday officially announced minimum wage of 75, 000 for workers with additional 25, 000 naira for pensioners in the state
In his address, Governor Adeleke, said the gesture became imperative to fulfill campaign promises, he assured that his administration ongoing 100 billion naira infrastructure will touch across the nooks and crannies of the state.
The Head of Service, Samuel Ayanleye, said the reception give the Governor a rousing welcome to appreciate his gesture towards ensuring better welfare of workers.
In their separate interviews, the NLC TUC chairmen, appreciate the governor for the approval of the minimum wage, he urged him to continue on the good gesture also appealed to the workers to remain committed to their duties and support the government.
