AKINRUN STOOL: GBOLERU HAS A CANDIDATE, IMPOSTORS SHOULD DESIST FROM MANIPULATING THE PROCESS.

Gboleru Ruling House, Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State has renewed its call for the ruling house to present the next Akinrun of Ikirun land.

The Royal family headed by Prince Olatunji Tijani, in a statement urged Governor Ademola Adeleke to continue to path the way of justice, saying position of state government through the white paper has in no small measure brought peace and tranquility to the wealthy community of Ikirun.

Countering the position of Ikirun Elders Council , Gboleru ruling house appealed to the Governor to ignore the Elders Council, saying  what they were pushing for would not do the town any good but to jeopardize the peaceful efforts already put in place by the government.

The Ikirun Elders Council had in a letter addressed to the state government called for the abandonment of the white paper released by the statement and initiate a fresh selection process  for the Akinrun from the Oba Ara Ruling House.

Tijani described the letter written by the Ikirun Council of Elders,  as a ploy to serve personal interest, and to downturn gazette and selection process of Akirun stool.

Tijani stressed that it is quite unfortunate that these so-called elders are advising the governor to ignore due process and abandon the peace efforts he painstakingly put in place, he also  alleged that the elders were acting on behalf of a particular prince from the Oba Ara Ruling House, who is believed to be too advanced in age to be considered for the Akinrun stool.

"There is no internal crisis within the Gboleru ruling house, Gboleru rulling house is not part of the court case from the lower court to the appeal court"

The elders argued that the internal crisis within the Gboleru Ruling House remains unresolved and has held the entire Ikirun community hostage for too long.

"The impostor created and sponsored "Oyetunji "and "Odofin" to cause confusion among Gboleru ruling houses with evidence in order to move the selection of next King to Oba Ara ruling house as usual".

"Gboleru is the next ruling house to present King" .

The impostor created a name G. ADEYEMO OYETUNJI to implicate Gboleru in a court case that will authenticate the fights between GBOLERU RULING HOUSE". 

"The only updated news we have about G ADEYEMO OYETUNJI when the government asked us to go and  withdraw the case in the court after the released of the white paper was that he died without a trace or known to anyone in ikirun or on earth. The Oyetunji and Odofin combined and file a fresh updated case in appeal court by presenting 6 strange people to continue the appeal court Akure case unannounced or informed the head of Gboleru Rulling House or any family of late Oba Gboleru Kolawole ruling house". 

"This is a conspiracy of the highest order going on with Akinrun stools".

"The logical sense here is to maintain the controversies and continuously cause more problems for Gboleru, not to present candidates, Gboleru is being used and remotely controlled by unknown family members". Prince Olatunji Tijani said.

In a letter addressed to the governor and signed by Professor Yakubu Fabiyi, the elders' council urged Governor Adeleke to initiate a fresh selection process for the Akinrun from the Oba Ara Ruling House while the Gboleru Ruling House continues its legal battle in court.

Recall that the controversy surrounding the Akinrun stool began when a monarch from the Oba Ara Ruling House was installed by the immediate past Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola leading to prolonged unrest in Ikirun community and and Governor Adeleke in response upon assuming office, issued an executive order to restore peace and stability which has since been maintained.
