‎Residents and supporters of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Obokun Local Government Area converged on the Ibokun Township Roundabout to express their readiness and commitment to work diligently for the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
‎
‎The enthusiastic crowd gathered in support of a leading hopeful for the Obokun State Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections, Ambassador Dr. Olatunji Awodiran Leovest, who has, for months, been actively mobilizing and galvanizing grassroots support across all wards in Obokun for Governor Adeleke’s second-term bid.

‎In his address, Ambassador Leovest described the Governor’s re-election as a collective project requiring unity and dedication, which prompted his consistent organization of ward meetings over the past months.
‎
‎At the grand finale of his week-long ward tour,Ambassador Awodiran presented defectors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the PDP State Executive and affirmed his readiness to strengthen and expand his ward mobilization network.
‎
‎Speaking on his motivation to contest the 2027 State Assembly election, the CEO of Leovest Reassuring Hand Foundation highlighted his desire to leverage the three core legislative mandates representation,oversight and lawmaking to build strong and prosperous bridges across the Obokun State Constituency.

‎After receiving the APC defectors, PDP State Chairman, Hon. Sunday Bisi whose his delegation was led by the PDP State Secretary, Prince Bola Ajao commended Ambassador Dr Olatunji Awodiran Leovest for organizing such a remarkable rally and endorsement event. He affirmed that the State Working Committee had taken note of Ambassador Dr Olatunji Awodiran's  grassroots efforts.

‎In their goodwill messages, PDP leaders in Obokun, including, PDP chairman in Obokun local government Jacob Adelani,Hon. Francis Jire, Adejumo and Hon. Kunle Ojokunle, landed the unwavering support of Ambassador Dr Olatunji Awodiran Leovest is bringing to the party. They offered prayers for the success of his mission and aspirations within the PDP.

‎Highlight of the event was the presentation of APC defectors to the party leadership, further solidifying PDP’s growing influence in the area.

‎Recall that Ambassador Dr. Olatunji Awodiran Leovest recently embarked on a week-long ward tour across Obokun LGA, which culminated in the mega rally. The event also served as the official platform for him to declare his intention to contest for the Obokun State Constituency seat in the 2027 State Assembly election.
