A Bitter Pill to Swallow: Right Honourable Olufemi Popoola Mourns Oba Famodun

‎The lawmaker representing Boripe/Boluwaduro State Constituency, Right Honourable Olufemi Popoola, has described the passing of former APC State Chairman, Oba Adegboyega Famodun, as a colossal loss.
‎
‎In his condolence message laced with elegies, Right Honourable Popoola stated that the transition of Oba Adegboyega Famodun was the most devastating news of the century, noting that his demise caught many unaware.
‎
‎“It is extremely difficult and indeed a bitter pill to swallow, the passage of Oba Adegboyega Famodun, whose public and private life was dedicated to the service of humanity. No doubt, the Osun APC family has lost an astute and iconic figure and indeed Osun State as a whole has lost a trustworthy soul,” he said.
‎
‎Right Honourable Olufemi Popoola thereafter commiserated with the immediate and extended family of Oba Adegboyega Famodun in the ancient town of Igbajo. He also sympathized with the Owa of Igbajo-in-Council, the sons and daughters of Igbajo, as well as residents and dwellers of Boripe/Boluwaduro State Constituency.

‎He prayed that Almighty God would accept and repose to the soul of Oba Adegboyega Famodun.

Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo, led a high-powered delegation to the Medium Security Custodial Centres in Ilesa and Ile-Ife on Tuesday, 24th June, 2025, and Wednesday, 25th June, 2025, respectively.
