APC ‘Yes/No’ Chairmen Shun Court in Contempt Proceedings





The Federal High Court in Osogbo on Thursday could not proceed with the hearing of the Contempt Case filed by the Osun state chapter of Action People’s Party (APP) praying the Court to commit Osun All Progressives Congress Yes/No Chairmen to prison for disobeying its judgment nullifying their purported election in 2022 today, as the sacked Chairmen absconded Court.

Recall that APP had filed the case to inform the court that the APC chairmen are yet to comply with the Federal High Court order and are forcefully occupying offices in the 30 Local Government Councils in the State.

Justice Adekemi Demi-Ajayi ordered that hearing notice to be served on them and then adjourned the case to 29th January, 2026

BREAKING: OSUN GOVT ISSUES DIRECTIVE ON TEXTBOOK USAGE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS, BAN GRADUATION CEREMONIES OPEYEMI AKINYEMI, OSOGBO  The Osun State Government has issued a directive to all proprietors and proprietress of faith-based and private schools to approve and maintain a consistent list of textbooks to be used by pupils and students for three consecutive academic sessions. The State Government also placed a ban on graduation ceremonies for nursery and kindergarten pupils across public and private schools in the state. CHIEF JUDGE OF OSUN STATE GRACIOUSLY SECURES RELEASE OF 18 AWAITING TRIAL INMATES FROM CUSTODIAL CENTRES By ASC Joel Oludare Oyedokun In a bid to decongest custodial centres under the Nigerian Correctional Service, Osun State Command, the Chief Judge of Osun State, Hon. Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo, led a high-powered delegation to the Medium Security Custodial Centres in Ilesa and Ile-Ife on Tuesday, 24th June, 2025, and Wednesday, 25th June, 2025, respectively.
