Governor Adeleke Unveils Security Trust Fund in Osun
Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on Tuesday inaugurated the Osun State Security Trust Fund, restating his administration’s firm commitment to building a safer and more prosperous state.

Government House Banquet Hall in Osogbo, Governor Adeleke described the initiative as “a strategic measure to guarantee sustainable security financing in Osun State.”

“From the very first day we took office, we made it clear that the safety and well-being of our people would always come first,” the Governor said. “This Fund will boost the operational capacity of our security agencies, improve their response time, and provide modern tools and logistics support.”
The Governor explained that the Fund, which has legal backing from the State House of Assembly, is structured to ensure a continuous flow of resources for security operations while promoting better coordination among security agencies.
Commending members of the newly inaugurated Security Trust Fund Board, Governor Adeleke described their selection as “a national call to service” and urged them to uphold transparency, accountability, and integrity in managing public donations.
“The people of Osun must see this Fund as a true symbol of trust not just in name, but in practice,” he emphasized.
He further appealed to private organizations, development partners, and citizens to support the initiative, noting that ensuring security is a collective responsibility.
