One Injured, Three Survive in Gbongan - Ibadan Road Crash



No fewer than three passengers have escaped death in an accident occurred on Gbongan-Ibadan highway.

This is as the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun Sector Command, confirmed this in a statement issued by the Sector Commander, Mr Leye Adegboyega on Monday


Adegboye said that a Toyota Corolla with number plate KRD 885JQ lost control due to speeding, with three passengers involved, adding that the accident happened at Salam-Salam area at about 4:06p.m, before the command’s rescue team arrived at the scene.

“Three persons were involved in the accident but no one lost their lives and were rescued safely.

“The only person that severely injured was taken to Adeoye Medical Centre in Gbongan and effort is on to tow the accident vehicle to the command.

“We advise motorists to drive with care and avoid excessive driving that could lead to loss of lives and property,” he said.
