Acceptance Speech Delivered as Media Expert emerges I.C.H.S Old Students Association President 2001 set
It is a great privilege and honour for me to serve my colleagues and our dear alma mater, Isundunrin Community High School.
About twenty-four years ago, when we left this great institution, many of us had hopes and dreams of becoming successful in life, even though our visions were not very clear at the time. Today, by the grace of God, we are alive and have attained various levels of progress. Now is the time for us to give back—both materially and in kind—to the school that helped shape our lives.
I humbly appeal to every member of our set to join hands so that we can uplift and support our alma mater. This is a collective responsibility; I cannot do it alone. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and leave a lasting legacy.
I sincerely appreciate our Set Senior Prefect, Pastor Alabi Taiwo; our Set Senior Girl, Rev. Owolabi Bunmi; the nomination committee; and every member of our set for the confidence reposed in me by electing me to lead this noble group. I do not take this opportunity for granted, and I am fully committed to serving with dedication and integrity. May God guide and strengthen me in this role.
I also appreciate the National President, Otunba Ponle John Ajadi, his executive members, and all members of the Old Students Association of Isundunrin Community High School for the commendable work done so far in developing our alma mater. I encourage us all to continue building on this foundation and strive to do even more.
Long live Isundunrin!Long live Araromi!Long live Isundunrin Community High School!Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Thank you all.
