"My attention has been drawn to a purported document currently being circulated across social media platforms and political groups, allegedly containing my signature attached to purported APC membership registration figures and primary election results for aspirants who contested to represent Obokun State Constituency at the Osun State House of Assembly.
I wish to unequivocally state that the said document did not emanate from my office as Chairman of Obokun Local Government, neither was it prepared, endorsed nor authorized by me in any capacity.
For the avoidance of doubt, the signature attached to the document is not my official signature
It is important to state that party registration records and primary election results are matters strictly within the jurisdiction of the appropriate party structures and authorized electoral committees.
